Strain Hunters Franco Loja of Green House Seed Co. is a pioneer. His nearly 20 years of dedication, searching the planet for rare and forgotten landrace cannabis strains with his legendary homeboy Arjan Roskom, founder of Green House Seed Co., will someday surpass the historic significance of the Lewis and Clark expedition as the true medicinal fruits of their labor of love become increasingly understood and acknowledged. I honestly believe that the duo’s research and findings will soon serve as the cornerstones of a real, organic and naturopathic health care system that celebrates the physical, mental, social and spiritual potentials of this plant which many of us, including Franco, are already well aware of, but will surely blow mainstream minds in the coming years as science puts digestible numbers on it for “regular” folks.

In his words, we lost Loja in the “line of duty” this January when he contracted cerebral malaria on an expedition to Africa where he was researching a landrace cannabis oil believed to treat the very disease that ended his life’s journey.

“Cannabis is my passion, my bread, my home. I feel it is my duty to make sure this amazing plant is preserved and enjoyed. I am a smoker, a grower, a breeder, and a strain hunter for life.”

“Landraces are the most natural form of cannabis existing on the planet because they have been constantly adapting and evolving, improving their harmony with the environment they live in. They are the basis of breeding, and the most ancient pure cannabis races existing on the planet. Landraces have been obeying a basic rule of nature inside their own environment: survival of the fittest…It is our duty to preserve cannabis landraces for the future of scientific and medical research, and for the basic human right to use a plant that has been used for millennia. Landraces could hide cannabis profiles that one day may be used to create new medicines, and these medicines could improve or even save lives.”

Everyone has always had wonderful things to say about Loja and his contagious smile and positive vibrations. Thats with his family and loved one’s on our minds, we invite you to light one up and burn one down in memory of Franco Loja and celebrate a cannabis warrior and his fruitful life’s adventure in the name of something positive and beneficial for others. Maximum respect and blessings brother…
